Driver Induction and Daily Operations
At Rocket Delivery Services Ltd, we place safety, efficiency, and driver support at the centre of everything we do. From your first day through to route completion, our structured process ensures you feel confident, organised, and fully supported on every shift.
Driver Induction
On your first day, you will report to Reception to meet your assigned support driver. You will receive your ID badge and hi-vis before beginning a structured two-day induction. This covers in-road procedures, delivery standards, and operational expectations, ensuring you are fully prepared before heading out independently.
Daily Arrival and Vehicle Preparation
Drivers park in allocated bays and are assigned a route number and staging lane before arrival for a smooth start. Each van is fully equipped with keys, a fuel card, and a delivery device preloaded with your route and sat nav. A mandatory safety check is completed before departure, with the Fleet Manager available on site to resolve any issues quickly.
Warehouse Loading and On-Road Support
Our warehouse team supports drivers daily to ensure efficient loading and dispatch.

Drivers proceed to their assigned staging lane

Parcels are pre-sorted into colour-coded bags

Loading follows the correct delivery sequence
Any issues are addressed before drivers leave the warehouse, allowing routes to begin without delay.
Route Completion
At the end of the route, drivers:

Inform the office team

Refuel the vehicle with diesel and AdBlue where required

Return any undelivered parcels to the warehouse

Park the van in the secure parking area
